7: Reestablish handle’s spine

Now, supporting the end of the handle, let it curve down gently, while at the same time turning the mug into a vertical position. Use your right thumb and index finger to gently stick the tail of the handle into position on the mug (8). Don’t push hard until you’re certain about its placement. Looking at the handle straight on, make sure it’s aligned with the mug (9).

Tidy up the upper attachment before dealing with the tail (10). When you’re satisfied with the location of the handle’s lower attatchment, use the right side of your right thumb to blend the right half of the handle into the mug. Start at the center of the handle and blend out, to the right (11). Don’t be hesitant.
